Pop Mart, the manufacturer of the popular Labubu doll, has announced its choice of London for its new regional headquarters. This investment is a result of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer's visit to China. The company plans to open seven more stores in the UK, including in Birmingham, Cardiff, and a new flagship store on Oxford Street in London. Labubu has become a sought-after collectible among doll enthusiasts since it went viral on social media 18 months ago. Pop Mart founder and CEO Grant Wang stated: "London is at the heart of the global creative ecosystem, and we are very happy to plant our European roots here." The company also intends to open another 20 stores in various regions of Europe.
